  The lodge has a cosy and relaxing atmosphere and a well maintained garden with a small but usable swimming pool. The 'restaurant' is off any standard (means really terrible). For the included breakfast you get 2 fried eggs (ok), beans (cold and 'fresh' out of a tin) and 2 pieces of toast. The opening hours, especially for the breakfast in the morning, seem just to be informative. They opened ALWAYS late. For lunch or dinner you have to reserve and order your meal and then wait. We did once. They promised the dinner to be ready within 1 hour. It needed more than 2 hours. The served T-Bone steak must have been from a cow that peacefully died of high age and, additionally it was served COLD. So there's room for a lot of improvement. The chef recognized himself and requested to join Mama Africa and GiveDIrect training cooking course.

  It's a great place and the staff members are so accommodating and the rooms are incredible... just one problem, the bedsheets and blankets should offenly be washed

  I had the pleasure of staying at the Reed Mat Lodge recently, and it was a truly unique experience. The cottages and huts were surprisingly modern and comfortable, with all the amenities you could need. We stayed in the house, and it was well-equipped and felt like home. There were 4 spacious rooms, 1 common bathroom and a private bathroom in one of the rooms in the back of the house. We also had access to the kitchen that we used for all of our dining needs. The serene setting was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready to help us make the most of our stay. The location was also perfect because it was within walking distance to one of the local shopping malls and easy to access the highway. It was certainly a unique and relaxing stay with the most welcoming staff!

  Nice, clean and quiet. Friendly reception lady. Helpful and a smile that never fades. The rooms are kept clean, The place has hot water, No room service, The beds are comfy enough for resting but given a price of 250 - 750 who would be expecting an executive treatment. If you are starting out in your business it's a good place to spend a night without running your business down. And since it's closer to Munali mall your food is covered. Convinietly located. Not far from CBD in Lusaka and easy to get on a bus. Not sure about the security of the area in general but I have not had an encounter with Junkies in the area it's a gated community.

  Eva was very lovely. The location really safe and fresh and relaxing. The room was clean and tidy. Loved the stone tiles and the thatched roof natural.
