::Clean rooms, decent restaurant, and a nice landscape (plus mosquito nets!). Rooms are a little cramped, but an overall pleasant experience. Dogs and cats roam free, but that wasn't a problem at all for me 😺

::Deliver this place. The rooms are basic but very clean. Grounds are nice and invite you to just hangout and drink a beer or tea. Staff are wonderful and the happiest staff I have ever met collectively. Food menu is limited but very good quality and quantity.

::Zig Zag is a fantastic place to stay. The grounds are well maintained with 24 hour gated security which is very comforting. The staff there is very welcoming and a pleasure to interact with. The rooms are smallish but frugal and clean which is reflected in the very modest price for a night. The attached restaurant serves a good mix of dishes and is open over a broad range of hours. If I ever came back this way (and I certainly hope I do) I can't think of staying anywhere else. Having said all of that, there are a few caveats that may impact your own experience. The rooms are very basic and some may find the state of affairs somewhat wanting. In other words, this isn't the place for you if you prefer ritzy, sterile rooms with lots of space to spread out in. If you are like me and like to keep a small eco foot print when you travel, this won't be a problem. Another point to consider is that the owner Lynne cares for and readies/vaccinates for adoption local animals on the property itself. This does mean potentially there may be dogs barking at some odd hours especially if elephants(!!!) wander by outside the property. It also means you can expect to see one or two cats wandering about the restaurant. They are friendly, but please do not feed them. In closing it would be redundant for me to again praise the place, but that's what I will do. It's a safe, cozy place, the staff is wonderful and dedicated, and the owner is committed to giving back to the community. In my book, that's how you do things.

::It is a great place to eat, it is quiet and you can bring children. It has a great play ground and a child's pool. It also has an adult pool. It also has both an indoor and outdoor setting. Great for a Sunday afternoon chill

::I could have afforded a nice fancy hotel but looking at reviews of this place and being a solo traveller, It sounded like this place was the best for me. I got great value for money. Even before i booked, Lynne was so helpful with ideas for my trip. I arrived there, and had everything planned for me and i could always rely on them for great advice and they were so helpful. The food at Mango tree cafe there is great and the team also became very good friends with me and I was very comfortable. My advice for anyone travelling to Livingstone would be bring insect repellent, all of Livingstone has heaps of mosquitoes.. It will make your stay much more comfortable.
