  Made to feel very welcome at this place, which is clearly good enough to have had a Chiefteness eating at it yesterday! You can also expect to see baboons in the grounds and possibly elephants too. I'm writing this on the last night overlooking the moonlit lake on our private balcony with just the sound of crickets and the flickering of the kapenta fishers and it is bliss. Especial thanks to Agrey who has gone above and beyond as a waiter and guide, as well as Alfred and Christine. If there is anything I would change it would be to put fridges in the rooms and also the very simple step to have doom or similar insect killer on the safari as well as insect repellant because the flies are a nuisance but skilled at avoiding swatting - chemical death is the solution. Also if you are a vegetarian you probably wouldn't like the food but the solution to that is to stop being a vegetarian. Normal people will love it - it is delicious and extremely generously portioned.

  A quiet and serene place, good to unwind away from the hustle. The route though from mumbwa to itezi itezi is a bit treacherous.

  The rooms were clean and spacious. The food is delicious, but they should have a favourite of food. The menu is limited.

  Good place, good location and good safari but management has to think of giving drinking water to rooms. We need to buy it there. Food options of multicusine to be considered.

  Love this place! I had a couple of days on my own after a work meeting prior to covid and took the bus from Lusaka. They were very helpful in getting me there. The lodge was clean and well done. My room was simple, but clean and spacious, and had a great view of the lake. The food was good and the location was stunning. The proprietors helped me arrange a safari into the park and came along with me - even brought some beer for me! They could not have been friendlier and really looked after me well. Lots of great wildlife too. Thought I had left a review of the place before, but realized I never did! Sorry its so late!
