::This is a magical place located on the river bank. Accessible by road or boat, the location is well suited for game viewing. The guides and staff are skilled and very accommodating. The tented accommodations are very comfortable and have porches with a water view. The food was superior given the location.

::The perfect getaway from Lusaka. Worth the 5hr drive. Stunning location, attention to every detail by the camp owners and staff. Amazing fresh food. A "must" visit.

::We loved our stay at the Kaingu Safari Lodge. Our hosts and their staff were gracious and very accommodating. The food and service were excellent. The lodgings are beautifully appointed and decorated tent cabins, each with. Balcony overlooking the River. The scenic highlight is the Kafue River. Teaming with crocodiles, hippopotamus, king fishers, monkeys, and so many birds. We would return here in a heartbeat.

::It is really paradise in the middle of Zambia in the edge of Kafue National Park. You sleep on the river coast and wake up with hippo roars. The people there are making you feel like family either in Lodge, so in game drive in during walk to the rock hill for sunset. If you go there, certainly use Spinal road as arriving is already game drive and you can meet elephants or some cute pukus. Go and enjoy!

::This small lodge on the Kafue River is a delight! The tented cabins are wonderful, with river views and a delightful deck on the water. They have large beds plus indoor and outdoor showers. The hosts are easy to work with, very sociable and helpful. The entire staff is gracious and always ready to assist with any needs. We did a mix of activities: a jeep safari, a walking safari, a boat ride and a canoe trip. All four were with our excellent guide, Israel. He knew birds and their calls, the animals, and how to keep us safe while walking and canoeing. He also enlightened us with great stories about the plants, trees and the ant lion. During our safaris we spotted over 70 bird species, 35 of which were new for us. We saw hippos, crocodiles, elephants and many antelope. The chefs are excellent as well, cooking delicious and plentiful meals for us, as vegetarians. The two options for the road to the lodge are not easy and they do take time, but it is time well spent for the excellent care provided, and the serenity of the location.
