::Just passed by Gwabi for a quick tour as we were seeing all the places around this area. Had a nice breakfast and toured the place and also went on a boat ride. The fee for visiting is k100 per head, there's not much to do if you visit the area besides the boat rides and fishing. It was a lovely and serene place to be at even just for a few hours. Not sure on their rooms and other services but they do have a clean pool and restaurant area, the place is well kept. The staff and owner are so friendly and welcoming, you definitely feel comfortable right as you reach the place. Hope to see it again for an actual visit of at least a few days.

::Such a lovely place direct at the Kaufe river. The sunsets are breathtaking!! You can go fishing or to the NP via boat to see some wildlife. Food is nice and the staff very friendly. I can definitely recommend the Gwabi River Lodge.

::Good place.. my only concern is why don't you allow tiger fish to be kept.. we have seen with our eyes when fish are caught and released they die.. no one can eat them. Not even animals... look into this... its a big river.. and the almighty will take care of the numbers.. they won't go extinct...

::I have been going to Gwabi with my family for over 25years. Its a lovely place, beautiful and serene. Unfortunately for me my last trip there this weekend was not one I enjoyed. On arrival the lady managing the place appeared not to like us. Our one night stay was besought with wasps, frogs and insects. Even on request no help was made available and our children suffered insect bites and we had a horrible night in in the stone tents we booked . In the morning I made it known to the management of how difficult the night was but the management appeared more annoyed about our complaint then that of anything else. They decided to discount one of the tents we had hired but appeared extremely annoyed with us and were even told that our booking with them was problematic. I feel and having said as much to the owners and the management, it appeared to us that we being persons of colour, experienced a specific type of service others would not be given. All I can say is that going to Gwabi is now off our family list. It is not what it used to be. Not anymore.
