  Chingola Central is a new high cost residential area just opened up by the local council for people to construct their houses. like any other new place, it comes with its own challenges, for instance the council has yet to make proper roads and provide street lighting. The water utility company has done an excellent job by providing water at least. the area is located about two to three km from the CBD and this makes it a prime area for those who don't want to stay far from town. the area has a number of lodges like Micheo Lodge, Shinsa Lodge, Skyview Lodge as well as Icon Hotel, just off Kabundi Road.
