  It is a nice place to be, a lot of different activities and things to do. Negative thing is that they charge too much for some services. Especially food that they wanted to charge 500 ZMW per person, drinks excluded. Like what is too much is too much.

  I still have fond memories of my time at the lodge in 2019. Going through my pictures now and I can't seem to understand my the lodge isn't much more popular. I must say it is a hidden gem some miles outside of Lusaka and for nature lovers it offers a two in one deal parked with a lot of mini tours. There's the lodge itself and the nature reserve. When we visited we had lunch by the pool at the reserve. It was a buffet made up of assorted games, rice, some traditional Zambian dishes and lots of vegetable sides. All patrons lunched at the same time which provided us the opportunity to meet people from all around the country. The food was well made. The chefs were mindful of the need to cater to a diverse palate. The reserve experience on its own is on a different level. There's an artifical lake with its own flora and fauna. We went on a boat ride on the lake and explore. There is also a "Cheese factory' on site and there is cheese tasting events with wine pairing, I think. The cheese tasting is done in a traditional mud hut with thatched roof. There are game walks with the elephants, cheetahs, and visits to the lions in their enclosure. There is also horse riding. And to cap it, there is a safari ride to go see the other games in their natural habitats. There are giraffes, antelopes, wildebeest, zebras, warthogs and various birds on display. I sighted a couple of Cranes and Ostriches. In all, the lodge was worth every penny and I recommend it to all game lovers.

  I must say that it was one of the worst places i have stayed and the main reason is lack of management, the staff are under qualified and the whole place needs a good clean, im sure it was a very nice place once but i wouldn't recommend going there unless you want to be disappointed....

  Beautiful place with very welcoming staff! The buffet is great too! Lots of animals to see and interact with Beautiful place to distress and bond with people who matter😍 Would I go there a 3rd time? Definitely!

  Quiet place conducive for personal reflection and growth,with very beautiful wild life experience. The stuff are very welcoming .I enjoyed my experience@ebeArtista®2022
