  A beautiful place with a lovely host (Gabriel). The house is lying directly at the river with a beautiful view over the Zambezi and to Zimbabwe. Gabriel owns two guest houses with a shower (and even hot water), a flushing toilet and electricity from a generator. He also has a boat available for river tours. I stayed there for two weeks during the preparation of an off grid pumping system and will go there again next week for the installation. Although the place is very remote, Gabriel did everything to make me my stay wonderful. He speaks English, has a mobile phone and he is a great cook. However, you should call him two to three days in advance so he can prepare everything for you. Of course you can not expect a luxurious house, but if you want to experience the beautiful nature of remote areas with a basic accommodation, I can warmly recommend his place.
