  The Royal Mpika Lodge is well situated along the Great North Rd. with comfortable, fairly affordable accommodation. The rooms have the usual appliances (A/C unit, kettle, fridge and TV) and decently comfortable bed. There was hot water in the shower and the staff were friendly. Rhe restaurant was somewhat hectic, and you need to approach the wait staff to order as they will not come to the table to take an order. Overall, it was a good experience.

  Love that the place is not crowded. Would recommend eating from there if you’re into Zambian traditional foods. Average service. Hope rooms were kept as clean as the restaurant.

  Lovely and well furnished with courteous staff. The drainage is problematic in some room.

  Nice and quiet. Clean rooms, AC, TV, comfortable beds, hot shower. You will have a restful night. Polite staff at reception and dining.

  Friendly atmosphere and good food too. If you love Zambian traditional vegetables, this is a good place. Clean rooms too.
