  Great lodge for photo safari and fishing. Tent prices are reasonable and the staff very friendly. In particular, our boatman Thomson was great. Always my pleasure!

  It's well located on the lower zambezi, elephant 🐘 get to this point in the morning. Very excited 😁 in the water 💧 the hippo is showing off and making some noise of communal living 😀 👌 full of experience in the natural beauty.

  Kiambi is beautiful. This is where Kafue meets Zambezi. The sunsets are amazing and the view is therapeutic. We stayed in the self catering chalet bungalow as a party of 8. 4 adults and 4 kids. The chalet was quite impressive because it was equipped with anything you can think of for self catering. Fridge freezer, cutlery, pots and pans of different sizes and knives which actually cut 👍🏽👍🏽. The place is terribly warm and on the first day we had a high of 41°C so although there were fans in every room, it did little to help. The staff were friendly and quick to help at any turn. Enjoyed a boat cruise in one of their beautiful speed boats with Stewart and saw many hippos and buffalo and crocs. Only had one group meal at the lodge and it was delicious. I was not impressed that the meals with chips came with neither salad, vegetable nor sauce. I’d also suggest upping their game on the deco. Overal, I enjoyed my stay at Kiambi and will try their luxury rooms next time👍🏽

  Great place with beautiful scenery. Both camping and room accommodation provided. Great tasty food with both local and international cuisines. Attending the Epic Elephant bicycle race for the first time here. Great fun and adventure. Must attend event if you get a chance.

  This is a must visit! Place is absolutely peaceful, beautiful and the right place for a weekend getaway. Longer stay would definitely be recommended. The hospitality is world class. The team is absolutely the best! All meals, breakfast, lunch or dinner is soulful. Prepared and cooked on the premises adds that special touch! The sunset is absolutely amazing! It’s extra special as a backdrop for the elephant and hippos enjoying the water. You need to note though, that there are two routes to get to Kiambi: an adrenaline, heart pumping one that might result in you not arriving or the slightly longer tarred road that’s easier to navigate. In this case, don’t take the quickest route!
