  Golf Rest Lodge is home away from home for me. The rooms have adequate space, wardrobe, well furnished ablution and much more tidy. It is a serene where can rest and work at the same time. Where necessary this will be my home whenever I'm in Chipata. Try it and you'll see the goodness of the Lord in His Providence

  The place is very cozy and is within walking Distance to Chipata CBD. It is in a cool neighborhood and have professional staff that offer the best service and you will get the value for your money.

  I feel the place has high potential. That being said there are a few things that should improve like, - Communicate how you want your guests to communicate with staff. - Ask people the choice of breakfast at the very least with what you have. I.e. we have bread. Do you want toast or as it? - Fix rooms before guests check-in to avoid being called for other tools for the stay. - Check and re-check simple things like how hot is the coffee milk/water, is there enough bread spread etc. - Is breakfast at 7:30 really an optimum time for someone on a work trip? - Is the POS machine working? - Is the broken lamp on the patio looking nice? - Is the 'Do not open window' sticker looking neat on the window? But I am a too-observant person BUT I am not unrealistic or high maintenance. I am just opinionated. And I think this is all a senior staff(fromt desk manager)issue. If they won't communicate to junior staff, they won't know. OVERALL - I am having an awesome stay. The rooms are fairly modern, spacious car park, secure, very friendly security-staff, cool TV viewing selection. I think this place just needs more marketing(hint!) and it'll boom.

  Bed and breakfast Lodge in Chipata. Nice spacious rooms, good customer service. Room rates reasonable. I always stay here when I'm in Chipata. Adjacent to the old Golf course, it provides the perfect atmosphere for work while you're away from the office. Only thing missing is WiFi and ofcourse Bar/Restaurant, which means you have to go out for both, but on the flip side, that gives you an opportunity to explore Chipata. I recommend you consider Golf Rest if you like serene environments and no disturbances.
