  It's a good place, a friendly Border one would love to be. A place full of variety business opportunities starting from small to big ones. However, money trading business (currency exchange rate) sims to favour more Tanzania's currency (Shilling) than Zambian currency (Kwacha) on simple reasons; one of which shilling is used as a standard currency against Kwacha and Kwacha is the only currency being used to buy US Dollar around this area, hence kwacha keeps on rising and falling from shilling any moment, so, Kwacha at this Border is never stable. The other reason is that, they are more merchandise on Tanzanian side than Zambian side. So their is more Kwacha on Tanzanian side as compared to shilling on Zambian side. Further more you'll find some Zambian agents buying dollars for Tanzanians in banks on Zambian side. It's a very interested Border all in all.
